Pat's Trip To The Philippines -
February 19 - March 1, 2008

Pat visited the Philippines where she toured

the Precious MomentsTM Resort, Sampaguita Gardens.

There, she spent several days at

a daycare center and orphanages

that are sponsored by

Precious MomentsTM Collectors and Sampaguita Gardens.

While there, she and the other collectors

helped to feed the orphans

and present them with backpacks filled with goodies!

Then on to Ioilio's Baptist College

where Pat taught the girls how to cross stitch

on her trip 5 years ago. This year she presented the girls with a suitcase filled with fabric, floss, books and needles.

The tricycle (a motorcycle attached to a cab with one wheel) is the standard mode of transportaition in the Philippines.

Pat was never brave enough to ride in one.
